This landscape oil painting was done at the Wild Rivers Recreation Area which is part of the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument in Northern New Mexico. It is a hidden, unspoiled, wild area some 6 miles west of my home. It is where the Rio Grande River and the Red River meet. In the distance is Ute Mountain.
