Want to keep your easel secure to the ground, use tent stakes. I always have them attached for the ever present breeze…or WIND!  

They don’t cost much and they help with that ever present danger of having your painting flying into the dirt!

Looking towards Embudo Canyon from Pilar campgrounds you can see the afternoon light striking the cliffs. The color intensify as the light goes sinks in the sky.
